General notes:
The project, partially funded by an East Renfrewshire Millennium Grant, was a collaboration between Stamperland Residents' Association (which also provided some funding) and East Renfrewshire Council. It was set up in 2000 to publish a booklet on the history of Stamperland. The booklet, entitled Stamperland, was written by Dr Stuart Nisbet as part of his ongoing research into the Williamwood estate.
