General notes:
Eaglesham Castle was built in the mid 19th century and was burned down in 1956. It is also known as Eaglesham House. It was designed by David Bryce of Edinburgh in the Scottish Baronial style with pitched roofs, crow-stepped gables and turrets. In 1984, Linn Products demolished the house and built a high technology factory on the site.
