General notes:
The tram service was extended from Netherlee to Clarkston in 1921. An additional tram service was extended from Mount Florida in 1943. A trolley bus service was introduced on 5th July 1953. Trolley buses were replaced by diesel buses in 1967. In 1969, these buses ceased to run to Clarkston and from that time the terminus was situated at the City boundary at Muirend.
