General notes:
We know from family history research that the Maguire family stayed at nos. 11 and 57 Montgomery Street (pre 1950s numbering) and at the house called Mansefield next to the Carswell Church. As of March 2012, this painting was framed and on permanent display in Eaglesham Library, as part of the Heritage Service's Museum Artefacts project, which was supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
