General notes:
The school was built in 1936 and catered for both primary and secondary pupils. In 1950 the primary pupils and staff moved to a new school, Carolside Primary. When the new Eastwood High School was built in 1965 at Capelrig Road, the original building was renamed Williamwood High School. The building has recently been demolished and the site is now occupied by private housing. The new Williamwood High School is on Eaglesham Road.
