General notes:
Eaglesham Mansion House was a rectangular two-storeyed structure with a square tower carried through another storey and crowned by a balustrade and circular corner turrets. It was popularly known as Eaglesham Castle and was severely damaged by fire in 1954. Linn Products factory now stands on its site.
