General notes:
Jimmy McIntyre, uncle of William Courts of Broadlees Farm, had the same Albion lorry for almost thirty years. He delivered milk and feeding stuff seven days a week, sometimes well into the night. The feeding would be deposited in hessian sacks in the appropriate farm building and the delivery note was often left on the sack. He had a good head of curly hair which he attributed to being regularly washed with sheep dip.
