General notes:
The houses on the right of the photograph are what is know in Barrhead as the "Bottom Scheme", actually Tower Avenue on the other side of the Glasgow Road. The old house is Wilson's Piggery (now Spillers) and behind it some of the houses of the Bowerwalls Scheme can be seen, At the very top left hand corner the ruins of the old Tower Rais are just visible.From Barrhead Museum Collection B1667. A smaller duplicate is stored in the photograph cabinets.
