We received this item through our appeal for photos relating to the 75th anniversary of Netherlee Primary School. The donor of this photograph was a pupil at Netherlee during the Second World War, and she remembers that pupils only had a half day education, morning or afternoon at that time. During the Clydebank Blitz, some children were moved out to the suburbs and came to Netherlee. Many had lost all their clothes in the bombings and had to wear Netherlee blazers instead.
