Copies and photographs taken from a collection of World War 1 memorabilia relating to two men from Eaglesham. Consists of items relating to 1) Private William Montgomery of the Highland Light Infantry including: a photograph of William Montgomery, 2 scanned copies of a newspaper cutting with a death notice for William Montgomery, scanned copies of pages from a wartime diary kept by William Montgomery and 2) items relating to Sergeant William Malone of the 15th: Highland Light Infantry including: 2 photographs of William Malone, a soldier's mobilization account (army form W. 5056), a demobilization form 29 (receipt for money deposited), railway warrant (Army Bk. 206), certificate of transfer to reserve on demobilazation (Army Form Z.21), combined leave and railway ticket, protection certificate and certificate of identity (Army Form z.11) Provisional first class certificate of signalling, Eaglesham ex-service men memorial service and remembrance day programme and photographs of a bible issued by the National Bible Society, a German medal, a Highland Light Infantry Badge, 3 medals and a photograph of the whole collection
