This granite water fountain stands in George Square, Glasgow. It was donated in 1860 by James Crum, who owned the Busby cotton mills from 1843 until 1874. James was part of the Crum family of Thornliebank, owners of the printworks. He was involved in numerous philanthropic activities in Busby and in Glasgow.
