The Gibson and Craig families were members of the congregation of the E.U. Congregational Church in Arthurlie Street, Barrhead (now the United Reformed Church). The bookplate in one of the bibles shows that it was presented to Margaret in October 1932, for regular attendance at the Young Worshippers' League.
