Miss Jean Perry was a well-known music teacher in Barrhead. In this photo, the group is outside her home in Paisley Road, although she later moved to Cochrane Street. Names for some of the children in the photo are recorded. Miss Perry also taught Jean and Margaret Gibson of Barrhead, and several other items relating to her form part of the Gibson collection.
