Zena and Chresta Borland were the daughters of Rev. Alex Borland, minister of Barrhead South Church. Zena went on to be a teacher and a missionary, and this postcard shows her with the family of the moderator of the Gold Coast Presbytery Church in Accra in 1950. The Borland girls were contemporaries of Jean and Margaret Gibson of Barrhead, and their names are included in the Gibson Names Index.
