General notes:
The first meeting of Clarkston Baptist Church took place on Sunday 19th September 1937. The church was founded by the Rev. Donald Fraser and 3 founder members. The first service took place on the evening of the 26th December 1937 and the church used a variety of accommodation until a hall church was opened on the 4th June 1955 and then the permanent building was opened on 10th January 1970 at Arthur Street, Sheddens.
