General notes:
A postcard to Miss F. Bedford, 7 Ivydene, Station Road, Kinkley, Leicestershire. It reads: "Dear Flo, I hear that you are off this week. I hope you will have a pleasant holiday and find such nice places to go to as there are here. Should like to hear from you soon. Love to all. Yours etc. Sarah." Postmarked Aug 9th 1909. The original boardwalk which formed part of the Lover's Walk may have been constructed for the opening of the park. The metal supports for the boardwalk are made from old tram rails. The boardwalk seems to have fallen into disrepair by the 1940s. The reconstructed boardwalk opened in 2016.
