General notes:
Built in 1799, Dr. Moore's Convalescent Home for Nurses was originally known as Busby House, one of the two residences of this name. Dr. Moore acquired it from its previous owner, William J. McKenna, at the end of the nineteeth century and turned it into a convalescent home. During the 1960s, the River Court flats were built on the site of the house.
