General notes:
The continuous path from Field Road, Busby to Newford Farm, Eaglesham Road was described in 'Some Sylvan Scenes near Glasgow' (1910) In this Brotchie discribes passing old Bonnyton Cottages on the path (and gives a sketch) of meeting 3 old men. Particulary focuses on farm track, a legal right of way, extending from Field Road, Busby, to Newford Farm, part of which now lies directly under the recently built Williamwood School. The lane, which was bounded on one side by mature tree, now lies under the very centre of the main building of the new school.
