An old elm tree known as Becky's Tree stood near the Moat Hill on the Orry. The story of Rebecca, or Becky, is not known, and the tree no longer stands. However, it is celebrated in a song by Mary Johnstone, daughter of the poet and songwriter Thomas Johnstone.
