General notes:
After the fire at Busby School in August 1900, classes were held in Greenbank Church, Wilson's Hall and the Free Church Hall, until a temporary wooden school was erected near to the damaged school. The rebuilt school, Busby Public School, was opened on 12 February 1904. In 1962 the school became Busby Primary School.
